Sea Pines and Harbour Town
Sea Pines is the south end of Hilton Head: Harbour Town, the candy-striped lighthouse, bike paths under the oaks, and the golf courses people mean when they say this island.

The gate
Community Services Associates (CSA) runs the gates. The Sea Pines Resort does not — seapines.com/faqs · resort policies.
A visitor pass (CSA) buys entry into the community at Greenwood Gate (Greenwood Drive; stay in the right-hand lane) or Ocean Gate (off Cordillo Parkway on North Sea Pines Drive), 7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m., for the valid date of the pass. Daily visitors not staying inside are not permitted to enter by bicycle. Bike brought on a vehicle: additional charge ($1 per bike per CSA FAQ) — CSA visitors · Community Connections.
Casual daily and weekly fees (CSA visitors page)
- Casual daily visitor, 2-axle: $10
- Commercial 2-axle: $15
- 3-axle (vehicle + trailer): $35
- 3-plus axle: $40
- Bus / tour: $30
- Casual weekly, 2-axle: $30
- Commercial weekly 2-axle: $60
Cash or credit card at entry. The pass is for these gates only. Sea Pines Resort restaurants reimburse the daily fee on a check over $30 — show the pass when you pay (Resort FAQ). As of March 1, 2026 the daily visitor fee is $10; the 2026 decal brochure also notes a credit/debit convenience fee of 3.95% — 2026 brochure (PDF) · fee-increase note.
If you are staying in Sea Pines Resort lodging
Two complimentary gate passes at check-in (Welcome Center / Inn & Club) at 32 Greenwood Drive — seapines.com/faqs. That pass is still community entry, not Beach Club parking rules. CSA also says property-owner guest passes and resort visitor passes at the drive-through at the rear — CSA visitors.
If you bought a day pass
The pass is the car fee for that date. Beach paths inside Sea Pines are for owners and overnight or resort guests. CSA: “Beach access in Sea Pines is private and is available only to owners and resort guests” — Community Connections FAQ.
Sea Pines Beach Club, 87 N. Sea Pines Dr. — owned and operated by The Sea Pines Resort (“Where can I access the beach”). Beach Club parking reserved for resort guests and property owners, 8 a.m.–3 p.m., spring through Labor Day (Resort FAQ).
2026 Beach Parking Plan: guests buying daily or weekly gate passes who are not staying in Sea Pines do not have Beach Club access and are not permitted to park at the Beach Club or Plantation Golf Club except for golf / Fraser’s / Clubhouse as that PDF states — 2026 Beach Parking Plan (PDF).
Tower Beach is for property owners and guests they bring.
Public sand outside the gate
A daily CSA pass does not include a beach-path lot inside Sea Pines. Public lots on this end of the island: Coligny Beach Park (1 Coligny Circle; free lot 102 Pope) and Alder Lane (2 Woodward Ave). Use the live park comparison table to pick the day.

Rules on the sand

Sea Pines Racquet Club is inside the community at 5 Lighthouse Lane. Tennis and pickleball.
