If a lifeguard is on the stand, ask about the flag before you go in. Town swim-area lifeguards are April 1 through September 30, at Alder Lane, Coligny, Driessen, Folly Field, and Islanders. After that date, ask the Shore Beach attendant or call 843-785-3494.
